acprplot
The acprplot
command is one of the more complex, because it draws graphs and Stata offers a number of graph-customizaion options. The acpr stands for "augmented component-plus-residual plot, which Stata suggets is useful for detecting nonlinearities in the data. For more about the procedure and why it might be useful, see JSTOR for .
As far as syntax goes, the basic command remains simply acprplot [indep var]
with a slew of options. In addition to having all the normal display options for any two-way graph (type help twoway options
to see those) there are some additional options common to graphs for getting the graph looking just so.
